Account Manager
The Account Manager is responsible for managing advertising sales accounts and working closely with the entire sales team - Ad Operations, Sales Managers, and VP of Sales and Business Development and providing account management services for online advertising sales and business development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with Ad Operations Manager to ensure successful delivery of online advertising campaigns, including the selection and delivery of ad networks for excess inventory.

Advertising Operations Manager
The Advertising Operations Manager is primarily responsible for administering the daily operations for GreatSchools' online advertising business. This position involves working closely with the Ad Sales team to implement online advertising campaigns and to manage available ad inventory.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with ad sales team to deliver flawless campaign management, including the execution and full delivery of all contracted ad campaigns
- Manage and check available inventory based on client proposals
- Ensure timely posting and successful upload and delivery of online advertising campaigns
- Track the status of all insertion orders from time of receipt to campaign launch

Director, Partner Relationships
We are now expanding our reach and impact with the College Bound Initiative, a new program targeting low and middle income parents that will provide structured online and offline training, mentoring and community resources to unlock the power of parents in guiding their children's success in school and beyond. As part of this initiative, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Director, Partner Relationships, to create and nurture key partnerships to ensure the success of this effort.
The Partners for this initiative will play a pivotal role in both defining the product offering as well as ultimately acting as distribution partners. Potential partners may include schools, school districts, charter management organizations, state education agencies, community-based nonprofit organizations, advocacy organizations, libraries, media organizations, corporations and labor unions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead creation of partner model - craft strategy for securing partner buy-in and participation. As this model is new for GreatSchools must be comfortable with 'try' 'learn' 'adjust' approach.
- Over time, develop a partner program which ensures deep, committed Partner Relationships
- Work with key team members to identify and prioritize potential partners
- Build relationships with early key partners to inspire their participation in the program
- Nurture key relationships once developed including working with key team members to develop an effective ongoing communication plan

GreatSchools Milwaukee Program Manager
We provide quality educational information to Milwaukee parents. This project, a part of the GreatSchools Local, brings comprehensive, audience-appropriate material to Milwaukee parents in conjunction with personalized workshops to help parents choose the right school for their children and support their children's educational success.
The GreatSchools DC Program Manager will work to bring these resources and services to DC parents. Most work will be conducted from Milwaukee; however, occasional travel to the GreatSchools San Francisco office may be necessary.
Responsibilities:
Program Development:
- Ensure that School Profile information is collected and current-build and maintain relationships with all individual schools and school entities (e.g. Milwaukee Public Schools).
- Localize information and resources designed to help parents guide their educational decisions and support their children's education (e.g. the GreatSchools Chooser guide in English and Spanish, any tools created to help parents become more involved in their children's education).
- Lead efforts to produce and distribute printed materials, both in centralized ways (e.g. publishing with newspapers) and from the GreatSchools office (mass mailings).
- Generate and implement a strategy to secure parent reviews.
- Work with community-based organizations to jointly and independently hold workshops, training classes, and events for Milwaukee parents.
- Be an on-call resource for Milwaukee parents through the GreatSchools parent hotline (or design a project for such a resource).
- Liaise with San Francisco headquarters office to keep information resources current and relevant.
Fundraising:
- Coordinate, with support of the San Francisco development staff, to raise funds for the Milwaukee program; specifically, research potential contacts and work with GreatSchools Locals and other GS staff to cultivate and develop local and regional funding sources.
Management:
- Assign, monitor and evaluate the work of part-time organizers, volunteers, and other site-based supporters.
- Monitor the project and report as necessary, by completing accounting, human resource, and other administrative-related reports.
Metrics and Assessment:
- Develop, with the support of the San Francisco office, and implement evaluation strategies.
- Innovate and improve program features through systematic and rigorous evaluation.
Job Requirements and Related Experience:
The successful candidate for this position will have demonstrated experience in community mobilization and training. Experience in education is also necessary. He or she will also have strong verbal and written communication skills.
