Great school, teachers who genuinely care about their students. Please don't take my word for it, go in and volunteer. It will be a great rewarding experience for you. I can type many words about how great this school is, but that is just my opinion, please go in and base your own. Anyone who does that, I am confident you too, will give a great review.

Please don't send your children here! High teacher turn over, bullying. I had to remove my kids and found a Catholic School that nurtured faith and development as well as academics.

As a parent of a child in the special education program, I can't speak highly enough of the exceptional support and guidance provided by the school. From the moment that he first enrolled he has been given the education tailor to his needs. The speech therapist has done a wonderful job at working with him and he has had tremendous growth.

i didn't like it as a student, the only thing found good were the teachers. Other than that i guess it's fine, but bullying is a problem for the majority of students, and bullies don't even get punished. Like a friend stood up for himself and was immediately sent to ISS. While the person harassing him goes away with no punishment. overall i would say its fine to go as long as your kid doesn't interact with many people, most students are not very nice and bullying is common to see in the halls. in the end its a meh for me. but if your kids can find a friend group its a really good school.

Overall a really good school, I do wish however that there was more effort put into counseling. A school of over 1,000 kids needs more than one guidance councilor. Also, why are there five administrators? Tons of fun activities for kids but sadly comes to the detriment of teacher pay. Rick Veasey will nickel and dime you for lower pay over time. Also, the insurance and 401k here are abysmal. Very weird hush-hushness about pay. No salary schedule and you will be given offer letter mid-year when its too late to ask for a raise. You can't speak to anyone about pay or you will be let go. Great place to get started in your career and get experience to land a better job but I do not recommend this is a place to stay long-term if you have any desire to retire one day or if you are the provider for your families healthcare. Also, you will do a TON of extra work here with no additional pay. Lots of field trips, enhancements, carpool duty, etc. All are on the teachers, aides, and parent helpers. More 'extra work" than any other school unfortunately. Make sure you are paid fairly and just know that you will never get that raise that you deserve. Also, when kids are bad, they never go to the Directors office. Rick is essentially a warm body to fill a seat. Nice guy! Just very very absent.

Very little learning going on here. Some good teachers, but ever since Lauren Peacock came in, shes letting great teachers go. Special ed and the school nurse here are non-existent. My children did not feel safe here at all. Families are discouraged from volunteering. This school was a very bad experience for my family.

I would honestly avoid at all cost. My 8th grader was told to take off his shoes by a teacher for a pencil. Then told by a other teacher that he didn’t have do any work because he would pass anyways. They do not follow ILP. If your child becomes a target for administration they will spend more time in the office than receiving an education. Not sure what to do. Just beware.

Pearson Elementary is truly exceptional! My children absolutely adore everything about it. The teachers are remarkable, showing genuine care and support for my kids. They eagerly anticipate trips to the library to discover the newest books and thoroughly enjoy PE, where Coach orchestrates a plethora of engaging activities. Above all, the school community treats us like family, offering unwavering support whenever needed. We couldn't imagine sending our children anywhere else. Pearson Elementary is simply outstanding!

I have a non verbal special needs child . PLEASE do not send your child to this school . If they need more then the school can do , they will fight and lie to save themselves money. The special needs director could care less about the children and all the staff is scared of her so they won't fight for what's right for your child. The director has low standards for the children and will tell you to have low standards also and then say she never said it .

All day, tuition free for Prek 3-5th Grade. Community and family orientated school. Low teacher and staff turn around. Health & Sports specialized. Great elementary school for students to learn in a safe and loving enviroment.
